Historic Rapid City Firehouse

South Dakota's oldest operating brewery

We have been crafting beer in South Dakota for over 24 years - making us the oldest operating brewery in South Dakota. From hearty stouts to crisp refreshing ciders and lagers, our rotating menu has something for everyone. In addition to a brewery we feature an indoor restaurant and bar, an outdoor patio complete with a band-shell for free live music, the Firehouse Brewing Theatre, and a new award-winning winery.

100 years of history

"The Firehouse" as it is called by locals, is one of Rapid City's most unique and interesting landmarks. Housed in the original Rapid City fire station, a structure built in 1915, it is listed on the National Historic Register. Our bar is adorned with authentic South Dakota firefighting memorabilia from the days of Rapid City's first fire brigades - including the original fire pole, ladders, patches and more.
