Firehouse Brewing Co. opened in 1991 in the heart of downtown Rapid City, and today we are proud to be the oldest operating brewery in the state of South Dakota. A fresh chapter in our company’s history began with the hiring of Mike Beebe as Head Brewer, overseeing an overhaul in operations from an old-school brewpub to a modern production brewery with top-level technical precision, quality, consistency and creativity.
